TTDuta 5 - 8 Team Paroi

Most of us car-pool to Paroi from Kelana Jaya; arriving in two cars by 9.10am. We got lost upon exiting LEKAS Highway; a big appreciation to Hadi for rescuing us. The venue is huge with about 6 tennis courts and the weather was extremely hot. Team Paroi prepared light breakfast (bihun goreng) and beverages (hot & cold). We began our first match at 9.30am and we conclude everything by 12.30pm before we proceed to lunch at Stadium Paroi. It was indeed an entertaining friendly and we hope to organize again in Bangsar.

TTDuta Singles “Super Tie-Break” Championship Rules

All players are equal in seeding
Each player will draw on tournament day to determine which group they will be in.
Each participant will be grouped into a group of 5 players
Each player in every group will have 4 games to play ; round robin
Each match is based on 10- super tie break points.
If a tie of 9-9 is reached, then the 1st player to reach 12 will be the winner.
Players are to change sides after every 6 accumulated points reached.
After completion of group round robins: selection of Winners will be based on accumulated individual points won. If there is a draw, then selection will next be made based no. of points won.
Top 3 from each group will enter the main draw, and the next 2 will be entering the plate event. This will be an elimination round until final.
Matches will remain based on 10-super tiebreak points.

We arrived at FRIM by 8am as plan and the weather was excellent; the court is superb with lush greenery at the background. To our surprise FRIM also have the same jersey design as ours; light blue. Small world indeed. We won by 5-2 and we ended our match at noon as it was raining :-)

We arrive early in UiTM Shah Alam but it started to rain by 8am. Lucky for us it stops by 9am and we began our first round by 9.30am. And we manage to gather all 40 players; lucky for us we have back-up to cover for those that couldn't make it due to emergency matters. We manage to complete our Tennis Double Tactics Session at UiTM Shah Alam. The weather was kind to us today but it was indeed hot by noon. We had our group lunch at D'Arab Cafe Anjung 7. Then we went to visit our sponsor @ Visi Optometri where we model their sunglasses as well as having our eyes check. We continue our session until 5.30pm; we had to stop due to rain. A big appreciation to Coach Rahizam and Gahara Event for organizing this session.

TTDuta Last Minute American Doubles Tournament

All of us came to Kompleks Sukan Delima UiTM Shah Alam by 8am (even Hilmy came early) but it was raining since 7am. Some of us went for our morning breakfast at Restoran Nasi Lemak Cinta Sayang Seksyen 7 but it was still raining. All of us then went for brunch at Restoran Mancongkam Seksyen 7 and it was still raining. By 2pm all of us were devastated and it was still raining without any hint of stopping. We had our coffee with pisang salai at Syahril's house and then the suggestion came from Afwan to organize the last minute American Doubles Tournament. We manage to start the first round at 4pm and conclude everything by 6pm (5 rounds) and the winner is Shariz. Congratulation. We ended our day with BBQ Dinner at Syahril's house :-)

We started our friendly at 4.15pm; it was a bit scare at first as KLTA organized a tournament in the morning but it concluded just in time. The weather was hot as usual. We played 9 doubles; best of 2 sets for the first round(No deuce and Super Tie-Break for the third set) and pro-set for the second round. TTDuta won by 6-3. We ended our friendly at 7pm with group photos beside the court.
